I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives. I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him. ~Abraham Lincoln
Please accept our condolences. The bravery these young men and women display in an all volunteer service is beyond belief. I know you are proud of Sgt. Tilton and so are we! May God comfort you in this time of sorrow. Thank you for your sacrifice.

Julie, You are in our thoughts and prayers during your time of loss. It sounds like Jesse served our country well and with honors. Sarah and I will keep you in our prayers in the coming months. I am sure Mike sends his prayers too as he is serving in Egypt this year.

LAST NIGHT MY HUSBAND AND I RODE THROUGH THE PATH OF THE FLAGS HONORING YOUR SON. WE DROVE BY YOUR HOME WHERE EARLIER WE HAD PLACED OUR FLAGS AND WERE GRATEFULLY PROUD OF THE COMMUNITY TO SEE HOW THEY HAD MULTIPLIED IN NUMBER. I AM AN EMOTIONAL LEAKER SO I CHOOSE TO RESPOND IN THIS MANNER INSED OF IN PERSON. I KNOW MY TWO CHILDREN WILL BE STANDING ALONG THE ROUTE TODAY TO HONOR JESSES HOMECOMING, AND TO INSPIRE MY FOUR GRANDCHILDREN WHO ARE WITH THEM TO A LIFE LESSON THAT IS BITTERSWEET. OUR HEARTS GO OUT TO YOU IN SORROW AND SUPPORT. WHAT A HIGHER GOOD HE WAS CHOSEN FOR. THAT HIGHER GOOD INCLUDES THE FAMILY LEFT BEHIND TO PULL IT ALL TOGETHER. NO ONE CAN TAKE WHAT IS LODGE FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS. GOD BLESS YOU. AND THANK YOU.

Julie,
Words can no express my sorrow for you and your family. May God be with you and comfort you in this time. God never closes one door without opening another. God must have needed Jesse for a special mission. I know he is looking down upon this community and smiling and thinking I was just doing my job. You raised a great man. I just hope I can do the same with my little man. God bless you Julie. Love ya. Sherry

I've learned that beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Jesus tells me the luster of Heaven is breathtaking
Because seated next to Him
Is one Mt. Zion "Tilton" Soldier
